Hotel On Plonge Junior stands on Bulevardul Mamaia, in the Debarcader area, on the shore of Lake Siutghiol at the southern end of the resort. Mamaia is a sandy strip around 8 km long between the Black Sea and the lake, and the public beach is about 300 metres from the hotel. The Aqua Magic water park and the cable car station are just a few steps away.

Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport is about 17 km away, roughly 20 minutes by car. There is no hotel transfer, so the simplest option is a taxi from outside arrivals.
From Bucharest you can drive along the A2 motorway and then the A4 ring road, or take the train to Constanța station, about 5 km from the hotel. In summer 2026 bus line 100M linked the station with Mamaia, and since October line 100 has been running again to Sat Vacanță, around 600 metres from the hotel; lines 5-40 and 14 reach the cable car area. In summer, most public parking in the resort is paid.

In summer the cable car links the south of the resort with the Cazino area, along a route of about 2 km. On Lake Siutghiol, about 500 metres offshore, lies Ovidiu Island, tied to the legend of the poet's exile; boats to the island leave from the Cazino area.
Constanța is 5–6 km away. Its Art Nouveau Casino, dating from 1910, reopened in 2025 after restoration, and the Roman Mosaic Edifice, whose polychrome mosaic is considered the largest from that period found in the Balkans, reopened in November 2025. The Carol I Mosque, built in 1913 with a 47-metre minaret, is also worth a visit.
The beach season runs from mid-June to early September, with highs of around 26 °C in July and August. In summer Mamaia is crowded and lively; out of season it becomes very quiet, and the hotel stays open.
